The 10 Best Window Replacement Companies in Philadelphia (2026)
This ranking highlights the top window replacement and installation providers serving the Philadelphia area, based strictly on Google review data and a Bayesian weighting that favors high ratings with meaningful review volume. Updated for 2026, the list reflects both long-established firms and smaller shops visible in local search. Philadelphia homeowners often face a mix of rowhouses, older single‑family homes, and seasonal weather that make window work a common renovation; this guide aims to point readers toward options with strong public ratings so they can research further and get informed quotes.
This ranking is computed from Google reviews (our method). Listings marked Partner are paid advertising spots: they sit alongside the ranking without changing its order.

Frequently asked questions
How do you choose the right window replacement company?
Look at objective factors such as verified reviews, the number of reviews, clear business contact information, and whether the company lists relevant licenses or warranties. Get multiple written estimates, ask about materials and installation methods, and compare timelines and included services before signing a contract.
What should I check before hiring a window installer?
Confirm the company’s insurance, licensing where required, and request references or examples of recent work. Also check the written scope: which materials are included, who handles permits and disposal, and what guarantees cover workmanship and product defects.
How much does window replacement typically cost?
Costs vary widely depending on window size, frame material, glass features, and whether openings need structural work. For an accurate estimate, get itemized quotes from several installers and compare the same specifications rather than headline prices.
How was this ranking built and why does review count matter?
This list is based on Google star ratings adjusted with a Bayesian-style weighting that balances average score and number of reviews. A high rating with many reviews is treated as more reliable than the same rating with only a handful of reviews, which helps surface businesses with both strong scores and substantial feedback.
