Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right truck size for my move?
Start by listing large items and measuring beds, sofas and appliances to estimate volume. Consider the number of trips you can realistically make; renting a slightly larger vehicle can reduce loading difficulty. If people need to travel with the load, check whether a passenger-capable van is required and verify seating and seatbelt availability.
What should I check before signing a rental agreement?
Confirm driver eligibility, age restrictions and what forms of ID and payment are accepted, and review insurance and liability options. Walk around the vehicle with staff to note any existing damage and take dated photos, and ask about fuel, mileage limits and roadside assistance policies. Make sure the pickup and drop-off times and any extra fees are clear in writing.
What affects the cost of a truck rental?
Price is driven mainly by vehicle size, rental duration, mileage, time of year and additional coverage or equipment like dollies and straps. Location and one-way versus round-trip rentals also change the final rate. Always compare quoted totals, including taxes and fees, before booking.
