What factors most affect the cost of installing or renovating a pool?
Costs vary with pool size, shape, and materials, plus site conditions like grading, access, and soil type. Additional features (heating, decking, automation), required permits, and local labor rates also significantly influence the final price.
What should I check in the contract before hiring a pool contractor?
Confirm the contract specifies scope of work, materials, start and completion dates, payment terms, and how change orders are handled. Also make sure it includes warranty details, proof of insurance, and clear dispute-resolution terms.
