The 10 Best Massage Therapists in Philadelphia (2026)
Philadelphia has a wide range of massage and spa options, from neighborhood therapy rooms to larger day spas serving the city and nearby suburbs. This list is built from Google reviews and uses a Bayesian-style score that weights average rating by review count; it was updated for 2026 to reflect the latest customer feedback. Our goal is to highlight highly rated, well-reviewed places so you can narrow choices quickly when you need bodywork, relaxation, or recovery. We focus on publicly available review data rather than personal inspections.
This ranking is computed from Google reviews (our method). Listings marked Partner are paid advertising spots: they sit alongside the ranking without changing its order.

Frequently asked questions
How should I choose a massage therapist in Philadelphia?
Start by deciding what type of bodywork you need (relaxation, deep tissue, sports, etc.), then compare providers by credentials, experience, and client reviews. Consider location, appointment availability, and whether the setting (private therapist office vs. larger spa) fits your comfort level.
What should I check before booking a session?
Verify practical details like hours, cancellation policy, and accepted payment methods, and confirm any required intake forms or health questions. It’s also wise to read recent reviews for consistency and to confirm the therapist offers the modality you want.
How much does a typical massage cost in the area?
Prices vary widely by session length, therapist experience, and the type of facility; short appointments and basic modalities usually cost less than longer or specialty treatments. Check each business’s website or call to get exact pricing for the service you want.
